  2. OMG, Roshaunda! As someone that went to high school with you, this title really threw me for a loop! I remember the rule. I honestly don’t remember if I ever broke it but I’m betting I did, not that it mattered since I was one of the many white girls. One of the things I remember the most about high school was the lack of diversity. To be honest, moving to Edmond from Lawton, the huge lack of diversity immediately stood out.

  3. I also wish to thank you for sharing your story Dr. Cade! You showed how at such a young age, one woman can make significant changes to right a wrong via purposeful and insightful civil disobedience. Biased laws/rules are not “lawful.”
