  • Get Out the Way!

    Get Out the Way!

Chances are good you are standing in your own way. I don’t know how you’re standing in your own way, but for me, that often looks like procrastination and self-doubt.

Take a minute to list all of the ways you’re standing in your way. Then take 3 minutes to journal about how you’re going to stop those behaviors and mindsets. Then take 1 more minute to remind yourself you can, indeed, do whatever the thing is you want to do.

This will be, perhaps, the best 5 minutes you spend on yourself today.

I’d love to hear how you’re getting out of your own way. Post a comment to share.

  • Happy New Year!

    Happy New Year!

    Welcome to 2021!

Let’s get the year started off right with some visioning for the year. I think we’ll do a few exercises for this in January.

Today’s questions for your journaling follow.

    • Who do you want to be in 2021?
    • What do you need to do to be that person in 2021?
    • By December 2021, who will you have become?

What other questions are you answering as you embark on this new year? Post them in the comments, so we can all challenge ourselves.

  • All the Things You Are

    All the Things You Are

This morning, I challenge you to write down the ways you are strong, bold, courageous, loved, motivated, healthy, intelligent, creative, enough, confident, special, beautiful, fearless, focused, disciplined, wanted, peaceful, capable, and grateful. Then revisit the list every day. Let me know what happens in your life when you do.

  • No More Nonsense

    No More Nonsense

What nonsense do you need to let go of? Journal about that today, then pray, asking for the wisdom to move on.

  • You’re One Prayer Away

What have you been afraid to ask God for? What’s keeping you living in your fear? Journal about that today, then pray, believing one prayer can change things.
